Today Jet wash drives were out Pressure cleaning in Kings langley, Hertfordshire. We were asked originally asked to do a driveway clean and resand but was then asked to do the patio area and walls, clear the moss from the roof and clear all the gutters.

This was an 1840 sqm driveway that had a lot of weeds and lichens as it hadn’t had a clean in a few years but was still well kept by the owners. the clean took 2 days to pressure wash from top to bottom. Then we sanded and also bleached and biocide some areas that were affected by lichens and moss. At the rear of the house, there was a slate patio, we did a bleach clean to remove some of the black lichen spots from the sandstone and then pressure washed it. This was great fun and 3 long days…..fabulas results

This is how you clean a driveway – Day one of the clean was to clean the driveway, walls, and sandstone trims. We have two rigs out with 18″ and 22″ flat surface cleaners running off  Two Honda gx 390’s with interpumps 202 pumps up to 3500 psi and up to 21 liters of water per minute.  it is important to get the balance right when pressure washing as you do not want useto much pressure and damage the surfaces. it means it takes more time but it is better for the surfaces and the client in the long run.
